Notary Fees
The State of Florida allows notaries to charge up to $10.00 for each signature they notarize. If the service is performed in our office, that is typically the total charge you will incur.
However, there are circumstances that can cause the fee to be higher. 1. Travel. If we travel to your location and we are not able to provide service for legal or other reasons, travel fees will still be due. Please note that when performing services in a hospital, if the patient is not fully coherent, we will not be able to notarize the patients signature. 2. Time. With the exception of weddings and loan signings, the time included with notarization services is fifteen (15) minutes. There will be a charge for time if the Notary has to wait for documents to be completed, looking for proper identification or for any other delay. To avoid time charges, all signors should be present, picture identification should be readily available, and the document to be notarized should be fully completed except for signatures before our arrival. |
